Quite often I find myself driving by stores in my neighborhood that I don't have any need to buy from.
But because they are in my neighborhood I have no choice but to see them every time I travel to and fro.

It's the mistake of not asking your visitors to become subscribers.
How do they become subscribers? You know.
You do know right? Place an optin form visibly on your website and ask your visitors to subscribe.

Why this is so dang important...
The point is that when your visitors come to your site and subscribe to your email marketing list, you can consistently remind them about the products and services you sell, thus increasing your opportunities for generating revenue.
One of the biggest fallacies if you will, is that just because a website exists online people will automatically go to it and buy whatever is for sale.
Bzzzt! Incorrecto.
Once upon a time you could get away with that, but like the famous basketball player Dikembe Mutombo likes to say as he tauntingly waves his index finger...

" Listen, if you're in business, you gotta generate revenue.
Otherwise you won't be in business too long.
Make sense? So if you're buying traffic or working hard to get it using free methods that involve content generation, you should make it a point to see a reasonable return on investment so that you can continue to operate for the benefit of your audience.
