- 1). Locate the "Remote Start" button on your LeSabre's keypad. The remote has five buttons, "Lock," "Unlock," Panic," "Trunk" and "Remote Start." The remote start button is a semi-circle with a dot in the center.
- 2). Press the "Remote Start" button when you are within range of your vehicle. Your keyless entry system is able to sync with your vehicle from roughly 30 feet away as long as there are no objects blocking the transmitter's signal. Once you have pressed the button, your vehicle's engine will start.
- 3). Insert your key into the ignition and start the car's engine to operate the vehicle. The "Remote Start" option will start your vehicle's engine but it will not allow the vehicle to be removed from "Park." To place your car into the "Drive" gear, you must insert its key into the ignition.
