- 1). Choose a material to hold up the sign. Purchase a simple plastic or metal sign holder to use to keep your sign standing up, or create your own sign holder that is reflective of the wedding theme. For example, if the wedding will feature a woodsy decor, cut a small log in half to create a flat bottom and create a slit into which you can slip the sign.
- 2). Feature the wedding colors on the bridal sign. Integrate symbols that are reflective of the theme of the wedding itself. For example, if the wedding is a beachy one, feature a seashell or two prominently on your sign.
- 3). Include a love-themed quote. Select a famous quote about love and print it on your sign.
- 4). Add the couple's names and wedding date. Include the names separately such as "Sarah and Tom Smith" or together as in "Mr. and Mrs. Tom Smith." Place these names centrally on your sign as they should be the sign's focal point. If you wish, create a watermark of the couple's last initial and put it behind these names.
- 5). Laminate the sign for easy display. By laminating your sign with self-stick or heat-based laminating material, you ensure that your sign does not wilt or suffer water damage but instead stays strong through the entire meal.
