- 1). Open Microsoft Paint by going to the Start menu, clicking "All Programs," selecting "Accessories" and then clicking on "Paint."
- 2). Click on the "File" menu, select "Open," navigate to the picture you want to resize and then double-click on it to open it.
- 3). Open the "Image" menu, and then select "Resize/Skew" to open up a new dialog box. In the "Resize" section of the dialog box, type the percentage you want to reduce or enlarge your image by (e.g., "50" to reduce it by half) in both the "Horizontal" and "Vertical" text boxes. Click "OK" when done to close the dialog box and apply your changes.
