October 6th marks the release of Runescape's third grandmaster quest, "The Void Stares Back".
To be honest, this isn't much of a grandmaster quest.
It can easily be completed in just several hours.
The best part of this quest of course, is the reward.
Upon completion of the quest, the player is rewarded with Korasi's Sword.
With requirements of 78 attack and strength, the stats of Korasi's sword are comparable to those of the abyssal whip (but measure in a bit lower), but it's special attack is what should grab your attention.
The Korasi's Sword special attack is magical based and can hit upwards of 700s through rune armor.
The downside to the sword is that it uses 60% special attack.
If you do lose your sword, you can get a replacement from Korasi for only 250k.
This sword will come in very handy in PvP.
If you had a fight that went on for a minute or so, you could probably use two Korasi's Sword special attacks.
This would be lower risk than dragon claws (it's only 250k risk) and chances are your target wouldn't safe like they would if you had claws.
Also, where claws are used as a second weapon for special attack only, you could use the Korasi's Sword for the whole fight since its stats are very similar to the whip.
When pking with the new sword I myself rarely died and never hit a 0 with the special attack.
The sword is rumored to be 100% accurate when using the special (meaning you will never hit 0).
I have a feeling that in the next few months were going to see more and more whips being replaced by the brand new Korasi's Sword.
