The Mall is the centre piece of Shimla life. We decided the soak in the sights and sounds of the place with just the right balance of shopping and browsing. A leisurely walk down the Mall Road familiarized with some of the best department stores, restaurants, and cafes in the area. We found the Himachal emporium the ideal destination to pick up some curios and knick-knacks we could take back home from Shimla.
The Restaurant just takes The Oberoi standards higher with a varied cuisine ranging from Indian, Continental to Italian. We had a couple of lovely dinners at this great fine dining restaurant, and the food was fantastic and the service world class. The Lounge provides the right ambience to have a quiet drink in the evening. It was a great experience nursing a drink in front of a roaring fire place which is unique to The Lounge.

With a host of activities to keep him engaged, our little one had a great time. We also found the time to have a walk in the pristine woods surrounding the hotel.
