Popularity of Motorcycle TV Shows Including Sons of Anarchy and The Devil"s Ride

Several years ago, there was an explosion of new motorcycle shows hitting the major and cable television networks.
Most focused on building and customizing bikes, such as Biker Buildoff, Jesse James'Motorcycle Mania and American Chopper (starring the dynamic Paul Junior and Senior duo) on the Discovery Channel.
However, over time, many of these have fizzled out as many viewers have lost interest in these particular reality shows and the characters.
Regardless, the fascination with motorcycle clubs has continued to grow, and has resulted in two very popular shows that have hit national television networks, including Sons of Anarchy (a fiction-based show on FX) and the reality show The Devil's Ride.
The first is the show Sons of Anarchy, which premiered in 2008 on FX and is now in its 5th season.
This series is based upon a motorcycle club called the Sons of Anarchy, which is located in the small town of Charming, California.
The motorcycle club has been involved in both legal and illegal business, and the members are torn as to which direction the club should take.
It focuses around the president and vice president of the motorcycle club, and encompasses not only their life on the bike, but their personal lives and relationships as well.
The show carries a dark dramatic undertone but has reeled viewers in for several years.
Sons of Anarchy showcases many talents such as Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal, Mark Boone Junior, Kim Coates, Tommy Flanagan, and Maggie Siff.
If you're looking for something a little more realistic (and not based entirely on fiction as is Sons of Anarchy), consider checking out Discovery Channel's new show, The Devil's Ride.
This reality show, narrated by Mark Morettini, debuted in May of 2012, and focuses on the inside operations of Laffing Devils, a San Diego, California motorcycle club.
Viewers can watch the interactions among Gipsy (motorcycle club president and ex-Marine), Billy the Kid (vice-president), and Snubz, a young member that boasts a typical nine-to-five job and a finance degree.
The conflicts, pressure, and relationship amongst the members can result in some entertaining situations and heated arguments, but in the end, the bike club focuses on brotherhood.
This reality show can help others get a glimpse into the world of motorcycle clubs and fully understand what it means to be part of the gang! If you're ready to fully engage yourself in two fascinating biker shows that have gained recent popularity, you won't want to miss Sons of Anarchy and The Devil's Ride!
