The biggest problem bloggers have is knowing what to write about...
The trick here is to have a structure for your writing, and a schedule. It's important. Right, your first blog post should be a short profile of yourself, outlining who you are, what your blog is about, and how you intend to benefit your audience...
Blog posts in general, should be short, no more than 500 words max.. After you've written a profile post, you should then write a series of 'pillar articles.' These are short 'how to' style posts which inform the reader on how to do something within the niche you're in,
EG, if you're in the food and cooking niche, you might write a series of posts about How to bake bread, or how to bake a cake. You should aim to write at least two 'pillar' articles per week for your blog.
Alongside 'how to articles,' you can write NEWS, Press Releases, Comment and Opinion articles, and link style posts....
Here's a few other ideas for posts...
========> Quote of the day
========> Tweet of the day
========> Videos you like on YouTube: PLUS your own videos...
========> Posts that engage the reader...eg, online polls, surveys, and questions
Finally, you should aim at the end of your blog posts to command the reader to do something, or to engage with you...

So many bloggers fail because they don't follow a guideline, and have a schedule. Blogging is a business, and like any business, you have to have a schedule as well as learn some new skills.
