Electric BBgun uses an electrically powered gearbox instead of an air spring. This electrical gearbox compresses the spring inside the gun which forces the bb out of the barrel when triggered. Electric BBgun usually uses a rechargeable battery to drive an electric motor that forms the gear box. Spring and gearbox assembly are supposed to assist in launching the pallets in electric BBgun. Electric BBgun is also referred to as Automatic Electric gun as it has the automatic three round burst capability. This Electric bbgun has a muzzle velocity between 150 to 650 feet per second and can fire between 100 to 1500 rounds per minute. These are the most commonly used guns in the Airsoft. Airsoft was first designed by Japan and later marketed to United States of America. It is basically a theme based game which is often played between two teams. Both teams are dressed in different uniforms. All members of the team have Airsoft guns with pallets filled with colour. The team who hits all players of the opponent team wins. Airsoft has found its applications across many fields. Research and Development uses Airsoft to develop weaponry with higher fire power. Airsoft is being used by training department of various armed forces of various countries.

There will be lot more applications of Airsoft in near future. Airsoft has been adopted by many theme parks as one of their games. Airsoft is expected to enhance the difficulty level in future and add further armoury. Airsoft in future may involve the laser guns with targets that can help measure the accuracy and efficiency of the trainees or gamers using it. We have heard about such simulations that can do lot of good to the armed forces. We are expecting some breathtaking ideas being incorporated into both Airsoft and bb guns to take it a level higher in terms of fun and entertainment. A lot is in the pipeline for both to undergo and will help them evolve. We have not been able to come to terms with the current form of the game but till the next level of Airsoft arrives All of us are expected to be ready to take it on by then. It may not be far from now that we will hear about new versions of BB guns coming into the market.
