DR KUCHO - Shadow Troopers - Latin percussion, synth stabs and a Hammond B3 organ. Orgasmic summer monster!
THE LATIN SOUL DRIVERS - Latin Soul - Another Latin work-out. This time with horns. Serve with a fruity rum drink. Remember to remove the umbrella when dancing so as not to put someone's eye out.
ANDREA DORIA - Bucci Bag (Peter Rauhofer/Richard Humpty Vission) - From the upcoming Live At Roxy 2 CD, a twisted little number about a tourist arriving in town to party.
Driving synth line makes for an intense dark trip.
DARK CLARK - If U Want Me (Airmale/Future Primitive) - Another track from the above mentioned mixed CD on Star 69, this one is equally dark and intense. Should keep you buzzed.
THE PRETENDERS - Time (Junior Vasquez) - From their latest album "Loose Screw", Chrissie Hynde's plaintive vocals float emotionally over another flawless Junior production. The perfect foil for her distinctive and beautiful voice.
DANIEL BEDINGFIELD - Never Gonna Leave Your Side (Metro) - A guilty pleasure. Absolutely beautiful melody over Metro's dreamy production. The perfect antidote to an evening of banging circuit music.
K-KLASS featuring KINANE - Talk To Me (Orange Factory) - Orange Factory take a decidedly trippy approach on this track, turning in an hypnotic groove that will transport to another world. Close your eyes and let yourself go.
LINDA EDER - I Am What I Am (Manny Lehman/Lenny B/Boris & Beck) - For those of you who don't already know, Linda Eder is a broadway singer with a HUGE voice.
Her lastest album is a collection of broadway standards from musicals such as "My Fair Lady", "Funny Girl"and "The Sound Of Music". From "La Cage aux Folles" comes the gay anthem made famous by Gloria Gaynor "I Am What I Am". Just in time for Pride. Just in case you can't find a copy of Gloria's version.
MARIAH CAREY - The One (Richard Morel) - As I've stated in the past, I'm not the biggest Mariah fan. However, there are times when everything comes together in one track. Mariah's trademark airy vocals are really beautiful and Morel's treatment is the perfect compliment...with one flaw. There's a serious key clash going on in places. If you can get past that you'll love this track.
MAURE & FAUVRELLE - Future Now - Driving beats and dark vocals. Pass the bumper. Circuit monster.
