Halloween allows you to become anything you want to become, just for a night. Dress yourself as a doctor, a vampire and even a whoopie cushion, if your heart desires. Stand out at your next Halloween party with a unique and cool Halloween costume. - Pull together a few items from the closet, the craft store and the outdoors to create a simple costume that shows your love for the natural world. RobinsFYI.com suggests using an old vest and floral-print skirt as the basis for the costume. Take a trip to your local craft store and get a bird made out of foam, a simple white face mask and some silk flowers and leaves. Decorate the vest and skirt with the flowers and leaves, covering the entire fabric, if possible. Use the remaining leaves and flowers to decorate the mask. Gather some twigs around the yard and wire them together to create a nest. Glue the bird to the nest and attach it to the top of your head using a ribbon tied under your chin. Beneath the costume, wear some leggings and a turtleneck.
- Portray this tricky object by first obtaining a large cardboard box. Gather construction paper in the colors represented on each square (blue, white, green, orange, yellow and red). Draw onto each side of the cardboard a grid of nine, equally-sized squares. Cut each color of the construction paper into nine squares of the same size. Randomly glue a piece of construction paper onto each square on the cardboard box. Cut out of the cardboard box four holes; one for your head to fit through, two for the arms, and one for your entire body. Slip the costume on over your head, then stick your arms out of the openings on the sides.
- The strangely hilarious clips from "Walker, Texas Ranger" have inspired a generation to idolize the actor Chuck Norris. Find a simple Superman T-shirt and slip it on. Over this, wear a few of Walker's staple items from the iconic TV show--a denim jacket, cowboy boots, a cowboy hat and a deputy's badge. Find some fake facial hair--including a mustache and a beard--and use facial glue to stick them to your face. Remember to unbutton a few buttons on your jacket so that people can see the Superman T-shirt underneath. If anyone asks you what you are, tell them that Chuck Norris does not wear a Superman costume for Halloween, Superman wears a Chuck Norris costume, as suggested by CostumeIdeaZone.com.
