- 1). Prepare the Bacillus thuringiensis spray according to the directions in the packaging. Transfer the solution to a large spray bottle, mist blower or pressurized sprayer.
- 2). Spray an even layer of the Bacillus thuringiensis solution on the broccoli heads including the leaves until just before the point of runoff. The grubs will die a few days after ingesting the solution.
- 3). Spray the Bacillus thuringiensis solution once every other week to prevent grubs from returning. Continue spraying the solution until you plan on harvesting the broccoli.
