• Use the number 10 for all your decorations. Putting balloons on each end of the cake table? Put 10 balloons in each group. Putting candles on the tables as a centerpiece? Scatter 10 different candles of all sizes in the center of the table.

• Encourage each person to go around and try to remember 10 things about 10 people who graduated with them. Have the alumni wear name badges of a different color from spouses and guests to help identify your fellow graduates. Even better, write their name on the tag 10 times.

• Instead of a traditional cake, consider creating a tier of cupcakes.
