- 1). Go to Adobe.com to download the most current version of Adobe Flash Player. Locate the download link. This will usually read something something like "Download Flash Player."
- 2). Make sure the correct Web browser and operating system appear beneath the download link. Adobe will automatically determine the operating system and browser being used. Then, hit the "Install" button.
- 3). Locate the yellow bar that appears along the top of the screen (Firefox users). Click the "Edit Options" button. The "Allowed Sites" dialog box will appear. Type "www.adobe.com" into the "Address of Website" bar and hit the "Allow" button. Hit "Close." Refresh the Web page.
- 4). Select "Install Now" from the dialog box that appears asking if the download source is trusted. If a second dialog box appears reading "Save As" or "Run," select "Run."
- 5). Close the "Add-Ons" dialog box when it appears. Close the Web browser, then reopen it. The most current version of Adobe Flash Player is now installed.
