- 1). Place tire up on top of the tire machine and the twist the center wheel nut down, tightening the tire onto the machine.
- 2). Use a valve stem remover to remove the valve stem core from the old inner tube and allow any extra air to escape.
- 3). Lift the beader arm and place it at the seam where your Murray tractor's rim meets the bead of the tire seal. Set the end of the beader arm in place and then depress the foot pedal on the tire changing machine until the top bead of the tractor tire is broken.
- 4). Reach into the tire by hand and then work the old inner tube out, moving slowly around the diameter of the rim as you work until the old tube is out.
- 5). Remove the new inner tube from its package and shake it out. Remove the valve stem cap by twisting it off with your fingers, then insert the valve stem up through the valve stem hole on the tire. Attach the air hose clip to the end of the valve stem.
- 6). Work the tube around the rim. Once it is in place, press the foot air pump to allow the tube to fill up and press out on the tractor tire's bead. Continue to add air until the tractor tire seats itself on the bead. Remove the air hose and replace the valve stem cap. Take the tractor tire off the tire machine.
