Pain

• Pains in the arm, shoulder, back, and jaw line are all signs of a possible heart attack. A squeezing pain in the center of the chest is another sign. If the pain in the chest becomes an increasing episode, one should suspect a heart attack.
  
  

Breathing

• Experiencing a shortening of breath is a sign of a possible heart attack. Another sign is anxiety or a feeling of impending doom.
  
  

Women

• While women might experience some of the same signs of an impending heart attack as a man, there are other symptoms that are typical for a woman. These include dizziness or lightheadedness, clammy skin, heartburn or stomach pains, and exhaustion.
