- 1). Locate the plastic bezel going around the radio, gauge cluster and switches. Pull this bezel toward you to release the clips holding it to the dash. This may necessitate shifting the SUV into a different gear or tilting the column. Set the bezel to the side.
- 2). Unbolt the factory stereo from the dashboard using the 1/4-inch ratchet and socket.
- 3). Slide the factory stereo out of the dashboard. Unclip the wiring on the backside of the deck. Take the stereo out of the car.
