- 1). Wash and dry the fabric to remove sizing and promote paint adhesion.
- 2). Put on protective clothing and drape the working surface with protective materials, such as plastic.
- 3). Mix the textile mediums with each color of paint, as directed on the container.
- 4). Paint the desired design on the fabric.
- 5). Allow the fabric to dry.
- 6). Heat set the fabric using an iron, at the heat setting recommended on the textile medium container.
- 7). Create any art projects or clothing you prefer, through this technique.
