It can also be used to stop the flow of air tocertain areas and to protect a system from certain outside substances. Duct dampers are also beneficial for controlling humidity and temperature.

    Volume-Control Dampers

    • Volume-control duct dampers are typically made of galvanized steel, stainless steel or aluminum. They help minimize volume while efficiently controlling the airflow.

    Butterfly Dampers

    • Butterfly duct dampers help isolate the flow of gasses, minerals and materials within certain systems. Butterfly dampers are also referred to as hydraulic or pneumatic dampers. They are often used in waste water treatment plants, mines and equipment plants.

    Guillotine Dampers

    • There are a range of guillotine duct dampers that are created for specific ducting systems where there is a need for shut-off isolation. These dampers are also used for cleaning gas systems inside various equipment industries.

    Motorized Dampers

    • Motorized dampers work to protect an exhaust system from outside particles and liquids, such as rain. These systems help reduce the temperature loss from within the boiler. They also provide frequent shut-downs to help minimize the stack effect.

    Aluminum Dampers

    • Aluminum duct dampers are sometimes referred to as aluminum collar dampers. This type of dampers is known for offering a quiet and reliable operating system. Aluminum dampers come in various sizes and are resistant to corrosion.
