- 1). Open PowerPoint by clicking "Start," then "All Programs," then "Microsoft Office," then "Microsoft Office PowerPoint."
- 2). Click "File," then "Open" and locate the PowerPoint presentation (PPT) that you wish to convert. Select it and click "Open."
- 3). Click "File," then "Save As" from the list of options.
- 4). Designate a location for your converted WMV file to be stored. Give your video a file name.
- 5). Click the "Save as type" drop-down menu and select "Windows Media Video." Click "Save," and wait for the "Creating video..." progress bar to complete. Once finished, you will be able to play your converted WMV in Windows Media Player and other compatible multimedia players.
