- 1). Park your Troy-Bilt Super Bronco mower and turn off the engine.
- 2). Move the deck lift lever on the Super Bronco's side to the middle position, then unmount the lawn mower and open the engine hood.
- 3). Remove the black ignition wire from the back of the Troy-Bilt Super Bronco mower's spark plug.
- 4). Cover your hands with a pair of gloves and find the discharge chute on the bottom of the Troy-Bilt Super Bronco mower. The chute will lie parallel to the rest of the deck assembly. Ensure the blade is aligned straight from the front of the mower to the rear. Measure the blade closest to the discharge chute with a ruler by checking the distance from the blade's tip to the ground.
- 5). Measure the rearmost blade from its tip to the ground.
- 6). Locate the mower's long suspension arm. It will be near the blades you measured on the Troy-Bilt mower's bottom. There is a nut on this arm that controls the levelness of the blades you just measured. Adjust this hex nut with a socket wrench in order to level the blades depending upon what your measurements revealed. Loosen the nut to lower the front-to-rear orientation of the deck, or tighten the nut to raise the front-to-rear orientation. Ensure the blade becomes level from front to rear after your adjustments.
- 7). Rotate the Troy-Bilt Super Bronco mower's blade so that it runs side to side (perpendicular to the mower's direction) in preparation of further measurements.
- 8). Find the Troy-Bilt Super Bronco mower's hangar bracket. It resides beside the blade on the mower's left side. Loosen the hex bolt on this bracket with your socket wrench.
- 9). Measure the Troy-Bilt Super Bronco mower's blade the same way you did previously. Locate the adjustment gear on the hangar bracket, then tighten its bolt to raise the sides of the deck if necessary. Alternatively, loosen the bolt to lower the deck's sides until the blade is level when measured side to side.
