- The 4.3-liter V-6 is the base engine in the 1998 Chevy Van. This is a gasoline engine and it produced 200 horsepower at 4,600 rpm and 260 foot-pounds of torque at 2,800 rpm.
- The 5.7-liter is one of the V-8 gasoline-powered engines. This 350-cubic-inch engine produced 245 to 250 horsepower and 330 to 340 foot-pounds of torque, depending on options selected.
