It's wedding week for daytime's most tumultuous couple. Days of Our Lives'EJ and Sami are ready to get married in a glorious ceremony in the DiMera garden, but will the duo's big day end in "I Do" or disaster? The short answer is both.

The bride and groom do exchange heartfelt vows and love is definitely in the air. Abe, who's officiating over the ceremony, pronounces EJ and Sami husband and wife.

For all intents and purposes it looks like the twosome are on their way to happily ever after.

It's a surprise twist. After all, viewers know that Sami's fiance is a liar and cheat -- EJ had an affair with Abigail and has been hiding it from her for months -- and so does she. Sami's seen the scandalous pictures of her man and her maid of honor getting hot and heavy at the Horton cabin. In fact, she's been conspiring with Kate to initiate payback on the pair.

So what gives? Apparently, the payback begins happening after the ceremony. "There's a big storm coming," warns Sami ominously, while wearing rubber gloves and holding a large manilla envelope as she charges into the DiMera study.

What's in the envelope? Why is Sami donning gloves? And what does it all mean for EJ? Bad, bad news. Apparently, there won't be any wedded bliss for the new bride and groom, as their honeymoon is over before it even begins.

Chaos ends up erupting after the wedding at the reception; the kind of chaos that lands EJ in jail.

Sami, who's still donning her wedding gown, heads to the Salem cop shop to visit her new husband behind bars.

A furious EJ is certain his father is behind his latest legal predicament. He totally blames Stefano for all his troubles. But is Stefano really the culprit? Or does EJ find himself in the slammer thanks to Sami and Kate's machinations?

"Safe" fans take note: Rafe turns up in the middle of the matrimonial mayhem, too. It seems Sami's ex happens upon some incriminating information on EJ and winds up crashing the reception.

Interesting, particularly when you consider what happened on the Friday, June 27th episode of Days. Remember. Sami stopped by the cop shop to leave Roman a note and ended up tossing some papers around on his desk. Could she have planted something there on her philandering fiance for someone at the station to find? And was that someone Rafe?
