- 1). Verify you have registered your Rheem product. Go to the "Warranty" section on the Rheem.com website and locate the "Verify your warranty registration" section on the page. Select either "Heating & cooling product warranty verification" or "Water heating product warranty verification."
- 2). Locate the serial number for your Rheem product by following the instructions for your specific model in the verification section under "Helpful links." Type your product serial number in the space provided to learn if you have already registered your product. Go back to the beginning of the warranty section and register your Rheem product if you have not done so already.
- 3). Review the Rheem Limited Warranty Guide (see resources). Verify your product has been registered within 60 days of installation. Search the model guide chart in the Rheem Limited Warranty Guide to match specific warranty areas to the Rheem product you own. For instance, a model RGFE gas furnace has a 10-year limited parts warranty, a lifetime conditional unit replacement warranty and a limited lifetime heat exchanger warranty.
- 4). Review the Protection Plus Extended Service Protection guide if you purchased this additional warranty. Check with the sales representative or contractor from whom you purchased the Rheem product if you are unsure if you bought this additional coverage. Call Protection Plus at 1-877-276-4294 and speak to a representative for more information on this extended warranty plan.
