Pendants to Wear in Memory of Soldiers

    Hair Lockets

    • For some, a small lock of hair can be a very meaningful keepsake when memorializing a loved one. If you loved a soldier who passed away, you can place a lock of her hair into a personalized locket to wear close to your heart. Locket designs can either be common, like the heart-shaped locket, or you can get a dog tag-shaped locket, stamped with the name of the soldier and her branch of the armed forces.

    Photo Pendant

    • A photo of your soldier in uniform, engraved on a pendant, is another way to memorialize your loved one and keep an image of her with you at all times. Photo pendants can come in many different shapes, including wreaths, hearts, ovals, rectangles or circles. You can also choose the metal (anything from sterling silver to 14k gold) and any information like a name, branch of armed forces or date stamped on the back.

    Engraved Pendant

    • A pendant engraved with only words is a simple, yet elegant method of remembering your lost soldier. Not only can you have the name, branch of service, and birth and death dates engraved onto the pendant, but you can also add a meaningful quote you shared together. Choose from many different shapes, including the dog tag; you even have your soldier's thumb print engraved onto the pendant's surface.

    Cremation Pendant

    • If your soldier was cremated, you can incorporate some of her ashes into a pendant to keep her close by. Cremation pendants can be in many different shapes and made of a variety of materials. Some pendants, like colored glass pendants or cross shaped pendants, can appear at first glance just like any other pendant. However, more unusual shapes, such as a bullet-shaped pendant, allow for more freedom of expression and are more eye-catching.
