Is suicide a personal right? Suicide is a situation when one kills himself/herself intentionally by whatever means or reason.
Coming to the point without filling this article with useless content; everyone has his own will to do anything in life.
Whether one lives with courage, power, incredible confidence, or with lesser will power and lower internal believe that bad time will never last forever, depends on the person only.
No one can stop you to killing yourself except yourself; no one knows what is happening inside you and when you are going to kill yourself except you.
So, there is not a single person in this earth who can stop you to kill yourself, and it proves that this entire situation is only under your control.
For one who is willing to finish his/her life thinks that suicide is his/her right, but in fact this is only a personal will to think like that.
Though, almost all countries give complete rights to all the residence to live his/her life with full freedom, but it really doesn't mean that you have been given right to kill yourself.
Besides all this, suicide is an unforgivable sin and in all the religions, this act has been treated as strictly prohibited.
What does the Bible say about Suicide: •God has a great plan for your life.
God has created us in His image (Genesis 1:26-27).
He created us for a purpose.
God has a specific plan in mind for everyone.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
•God's plan is for life, not death.
The Bible teaches that both physical and spiritual death are the result of our sin and disobedience to God, but eternal life is a gift to those who receive it.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of GOD is eternal life in Christ Jesus (Romans 6:23).
•Jesus taught that death and destruction are the work of "the thief" (Satan).
He said, the thief comes only to steal and destroy (John 10:10).
John 8:44 says that Satan is a "murderer" and the "father of lies.
" The feeling of despair that lead to suicide are caused by some of his lies.
•Life belongs to God.
It is never our place to take our own life or someone else's life.
Do you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own, you were bought at a price.
Therefore honor God with your body (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
What does the QUR'AN say about Suicide: Suicide is haraam (forbidden) in Islam and regarded as amongst the major sins, and likewise included in the general statements of ALLAH (GOD).
{ And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell to abide therein, and the Wrath and the Curse of ALLAH are upon him, and a great punishment is prepared for him}, [Soorah an-Nisaa, Aayah 93].
And it is established from the Sunnah (authentically relates traditions) on the authority of the Prophet Muhammad (P.
B.
U.
H), the last Messenger of ALLAH (GOD), who said: "Indeed, whoever (intentionally) kills himself, then certainly he will be punished in the Fire of Hell, wherein he shall dwell forever", [Bukhaaree (5778) and Muslim (109 and 110)].
So, keep in mind that in every religion, suicide is strictly prohibited and one, who commits suicide, is in a big loss in earth and in the life after this life.
