Are you looking for a solid Protoss build order? That's exactly what you need if you play this race and want to dominate every battle.
However, before I offer you the Protoss build order that has brought me success in hundreds of matches, there are a few important things to know: 1.
Not every match is the same.
Each player thinks in their own way, coming up with different tricks and strategies.
2.
Playing Protoss, not all strategies and tricks may work against all races.
Also, you must know the main Protoss advantage for the early match, to be one step in the direction of victory from the beginning.
The Protoss Opener Advantages Protoss Probes are the most effective workers in the game.
A Probe can set a building to be built and then return to mining.
But since the Protoss are heavy energy and resource consumers, you need to keep the Probe production constant.
The primary combat units, the Zealots are slow and can fight only in melee range, but they are quite resilient so they make excellent choke point defenders.
And now, your build order.
A Balanced Protoss Build Order Start with a Pylon a 9 supplies, and make sure you place it at the choke point.
Once its set to be built, send that Probe to scout.
It's vital to know what your enemy is cooking, to be prepare to counter a rush.
At 12/19 make your first Gateway, at the choke point as well.
Now, if you see that your opponent is planning an early rush, make some Zealots.
If it's not the case focus on the Probe production.
Make an Assimilator at 15, another Pylon at 16, the Cybernetics Core and then a second Assimilator.
With this build, you should be ready for deploying your battle force.
Now, this is an opener that works for most cases.
But if you want to become a complete StarCraft 2 Protoss player, just one single Protoss build order is simply not enough.
