- 1). Sign in to Facebook.
- 2). Click the "Search" input field in the main menu bar.
- 3). Enter the full name of your friend into the search input box. Select "See More Results" at the bottom of the search pane to open the Facebook search in a new page.
- 4). Click the "People" icon on the left side of the search page. This filters the search results to include only people, rather than Facebook pages, applications or groups.
- 5). Scroll through the list of Facebook members with the same name as your friend. You'll need to check every name to see if your friend is included in the search results. Click the blue "See More Results" link below each page of results to move to the next page. If you can't find your friend in the search results, it's likely that the account is blocked or deactivated. If he does appear in the search results, but no longer features in your Facebook friends list, he's probably just unfriended you.
