- 1). Insert your ignition key into the car's ignition and turn the ignition to the "On" position.
- 2). Remove the dashboard panel on the driver's side of your car and locate the data port terminal. The data port is a small black terminal about 6 inches to 8 inches wide with eight different data ports on both the top and bottom. It will be available just under the dashboard.
- 3). Connect the No. 4 and No. 8 terminals using an electrical jumper wire and wait for the car to respond by automatically cycling the locks.
- 4). Keep the wires connected and press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on your keyless remote.
- 5). Hold the remote until the locks cycle again, which may take as long as 15 seconds.
- 6). Repeat Step 4 with any additional remotes and remove the jumper wires once you are finished.
