- 1). Plug the DVI end of the cable into the DVI socket on your computer; this is the larger end of the cable. The input will be located at the back of your computer's hard drive.
- 2). Plug the HDMI end of the cable into your TV set, this is the smaller end of the cable. The HDMI input is located at the back of your TV set.
- 3). Start up your computer and wait for Windows to load.
- 4). Click on the start button, click on "Programs," then scroll up to and select "Windows Media Center."
- 5). Wait for Windows Media Center to load, then scroll up to and click on "Pictures and Videos." Windows Media Center will then import all the pictures on your computer. To start a slide show, simply click on a photo.
- 6). Switch the TV channel to HDMI 1 or 2 depending on which input you used.
- 7). Hold down the "FN" key on your laptop and click on F4. This will command your computer to route the monitor output to your connected TV.
