I've been tweeting for about a year.
As I've studied successful tweeters I've learned what Twitter is about.
Have fun.
Make friends.
Gain wealth.
Have Fun Tweet about what you enjoy doing most.
Focus on your passions.
This enthusiasm is contagious.
When you have fun you'll attract more fun.
The right tweeters will find you.
You'll be retweeted frequently.
Retweeting grows your presence substantially.
Make Friends Engage.
Your followers are friends.
Think about your circle of offline friends.
When you met them did you pitch them? Did you throw a product in their face while shaking their hand? Of course not.
You built a relationship.
You gained trust in one another.
When trust is developed one hand would naturally wash the other.
If you want to gain wealth you must know how to gain friends.
Gain Wealth This step will proceed naturally when following the first two steps.
Every normal person likes to associate with fun people.
They also go out of their way to help a person whom they trust.
When people are attracted to you, like you, and trust you, they will be interested in what you have to offer.
When you work in harmony with the universe your cupboard will never be bare.
The universe will hand out your business card if you allow it to.
My Twitter Tips 1 - Have Fun.
Tweet about what you enjoy.
This attracts like-minded people.
2 - Make Friends.
Forget number of followers.
3 - RT, RT, and RT some more.
Sharing is caring.
Help others and you will help yourself.
Those who RT develop a great reputation on Twitter.
4 - Engage.
Ask questions.
Provide answers.
Talk TO fellow tweeters.
Don't talk AT them.
5 - Take frequent breaks from twitter.
It's easy to become attached to one method of networking, thinking that it's THE way through which you'll make money.
Many of us learned about this attachment the other day when Twitter was down.
Twitter will not define your level of success.
Your mindset will.
I break every one to two hours and find a quiet room.
I clear my mind, meditate, visualize, or perform affirmations.
The more mental work I perform the easier the physical work becomes.
More and more my "job" feels like play.
These strategies have proven effective for my twitter campaign.
