- 1). Start with a weapon that suits you well. If you have poor aiming skills, for instance, opt for a pistol or the dual Uzis. These will allow you to fire at a quick speed, which will increase your chances of hitting someone. If, on the other hand, you have spectacular aiming skills, choose a shotgun or rifle. Though these guns are slow, they do far more damage and therefore make it easier to kill your opponents.
- 2). Collect as much cash as possible. There are no rules of ethics in "Boxhead Bounty," so don't feel bad about collecting money from other people's kills. As soon as someone goes down and cash is dispersed across the arena, immediately go after the money. The key to leveling up is money. Without it, you can't get access to the weapons and tools you'll need to own the field.
- 3). Target the player with the most points. There will be a blinking cursor that constantly points to the No. 1 player's location. The benefit of taking out the top guy is that you'll earn Bounty Points. If you earn the most Bounty Points in a game, you'll get the reward of starting the next game with an additional $5,000 in your pockets. You can use that to upgrade your weapons at the beginning of the game, which will give you a tactical advantage over all your opponents.
- 4). Take advantage of major fights. Oftentimes, players will congregate in one spot on the map and wage a fire fight. During the fight, many players will get killed and bundles of cash will start littering the arena. This is an opportunity to collect a large dose of cash. The key is to focus on getting as much cash as possible before you are killed.
- 5). Invest in a Magnum. Once you've collected $30,000, you'll be able to purchase a Magnum. It's the most powerful weapon in the game. Not only does it fire quickly like a pistol, but it also does as much damage as a rifle. Keep in mind that the ammunition for a magnum is extremely expensive. That said, don't stop collecting cash, because you don't want to run out of ammo in the middle of a fight.
