Everyone is a foodie with a little help from your friends at PPG. The talented culinary team is sharing some of their secret recipes with you and here’s one of the top requests.
Note: the dressing will thicken slightly when refrigerated.
Ingredients
- 2 cups balsamic vinegar
- ½ lb. honey (8 oz. weight, not volume)
- 1 to 2 shallots
- 1 oz. fresh basil (stems removed)
- 4 cups salad oil
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Total Time: 10 minutes
Preparation
Combine honey, shallots and basil in a blender. Turn to high speed. Through the top of the blender, gently pour in a slow, steady stream of the balsamic vinegar to blend. Next, add salad oil in same manner until desired thickness is achieved.Note: the dressing will thicken slightly when refrigerated.
