A fringy hairstyle can add texture, volume and movement to your 'do. If you're looking for a change to your current hairstyle, consider add a bit of fringe to give you a whole new look. If you're not ready to completely change your look, you can always add a fringy bang instead. - If you're not ready to alter your entire hairstyle, have you stylist cut some fringy bangs into your hair instead. You can create a lot of different looks with your bangs. Pull them over to the side for a side-swept look, comb them straight down to create a thick bang over your forehead, or part them and pull the bangs to each side of your forehead. You can also have your stylist cut the bangs short and "messy" to create a shagged bang look.
- Have your hair stylist cut your hair in multiple and varying-length layers. The haircut can be just above the shoulders or shorter. Towel dry your hair until it's almost dry, then add a bit of hair gel to the roots to add hold and lift. Dry your hair the rest of the way using a hair dryer. Use your fingers to "mess" up the style a little yourself.
- If you cannot part with your medium to long hair, have you stylist cut your hair into long and varying lengths of layers. When you're doing your hair yourself, spritz it with some sea salt water and gel. Then, scrunch your hair using your fingers to create a messy, wavy and just-off-the-beach fringed look.
