Who Introduced Pilates?

This genre of exercise was founded by Joseph H. Pilates. He was a 20th century self-defense instructor. With the purpose for treating illnesses with exercises, he modified hospital beds so that his patients could perform resistance exercises. Later, he went on to design effective equipment for resistance exercises. Joseph Pilates opened a fitness studio in the US and had several disciples.
