- 1). Locate the data port on the right side of your car's steering column, and insert your car's keys into the ignition.
- 2). Connect port 1 and port 4 on the data port with jumper wires. If not labeled, these are the first and fourth ports from the left on the top of the data port.
- 3). Press your car's hazard switch six times, and wait for the locks to automatically cycle to indicate that programming mode has been opened.
- 4). Press the "Lock" button three times on the remote you would like to program within the next 10 seconds, and wait for the door locks to lock and unlock once.
- 5). Repeat Step 4 with any additional remotes, and remove the wires to close the programming mode.
