Home Styles Kitchen Cart Instructions

    • 1). Check the parts list. Verify that all of the parts for the Home Styles kitchen cart have been included. Also check the hardware list to make sure all of the metal parts and tools have been included.

    • 2). Attach the casters. Locate the bottom of the cart and attach the casters to the underside. If there are casters with brakes, attach them to the back section of the bottom (a sticker will denote which side is which).

    • 3). Attach the sides. Locate the side pieces and attach them to the bottom, tightening the head cap bolts halfway only. Attach the back posts to the rear on the cart's bottom. Connect the middle frame to the back posts.

    • 4). Slide the back panels into place, then attach the back stretcher to the top of the back panels. Insert the head cap bolts through the side frame, then tighten halfway.

    • 5). Attach the front stretcher to the front of the cart, connecting to each side. Tighten the head cap bolt halfway. Attach the drawer divider to the back stretcher and the front stretcher, then tighten the head cap bolt all the way.

    • 6). Attach the side frame to the left side of the cart. Tighten all head cap bolts fully.

    • 7). Attach the handle with head cap bolts from the inside, then slide the round arm piece into place.

    • 8). Place the gate leg onto the rear of the cart and attach with wood screws.

    • 9). Attach the knife box to the side frame and attach with head cap bolts. Place the cam lock screws through the top holes of both side frames, making sure that the arrow is on top. Tighten all cam locks to secure the top to the cart.

    • 10

Attach the cabinet doors to the front stretcher and cart bottom using the spring pin hinges. Assemble the drawer and door pull handles with machine screws.

    • 11

Line up the four sides of the drawers, making sure to note which way the arrow is pointing. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to insert screws into predrilled holes on the sides. Tighten screws only halfway.

    • 12

Turn the drawers over and slide the bottom piece into the grooves on the sides. The bottom should be pushed enough so that it's flush with the front of the drawer.

    • 13

Insert 1/2-inch screws into predrilled holes on the bottom. Tighten all screws. Assemble the drawer pull handle with machine screws through the front piece.

    • 14

Place adjustable shelf pins into the side panel, then place shelf on shelf pins. Slide the drawers into place.

    • 15

Cover all screw and bolt heads with wood plugs, if desired.
