- 1). Open the driver door of your Impreza. Locate the dash panel covering the radio and air circulation vents.
- 2). Use both hands to pull the dash panel off of the radio. Be careful not to break the plastic dash panel.
- 3). Use a small Phillips-head screwdriver to unfasten all four screws securing the Impreza radio. Pull the radio toward you, unplug its wiring connector and remove it from the vehicle.
- 4). Push the new radio into the hole in the center of the central console and attach the wiring connector to the radio.
- 5). Reinstall the four screws and push the dash panel back onto the radio, making sure it snaps into place.
