How to Relieve Back Pain During Early Pregnancy

If you are experiencing lower back pain during your pregnancy then you need to first look at why you are having this pain and what can be done to help alleviate it.
When you become pregnant many things are happening inside your body to make way for your new addition to your family.
We want to help you be as comfortable as possible.
  1. Weight gain is something that is hard to prevent in some women, so you must take steps to relieve this extra stress on your pelvis and lower back.
    Practice good posture at all times by sitting straight with your shoulders back and head up.
    If you are driving use a lumbar support pillow to help eliminate pressure on your lower spine.
  2. Back pain during sleeping can be a big factor during your pregnancy, so here are some ways to help you rest properly.
    Try to lie on your side with your legs, knees, and hips bent towards your head.
    Try using a pillow between your knees to help eliminate to help take pressure off your low back.
    There are even pregnancy pillows available to help support your stomach.
  3. Hormonal changes are also happening during early pregnancy.
    Your bodies natural ability to loosen your tissues and relax your muscles, this is your body's way of getting ready for childbirth.
    A prenatal massage can help reduce your pain and while keeping your body lose.
  4. I already touched on this a little, but proper posture is an underlying factor to help relieve your back pain.
    While standing try standing up straight with your hips back while not humping over.
    If standing for extended periods of time, take short breaks to help take the stress off of your spine.
  5. Some other factors that can contribute to your back pain are; when the embryo is formed it is implanted into your birth canal, so this can cause pain on your lower back, also stress due to the pregnancy also can contribute to extra pain.
    Even wearing improper shoes can cause spinal misalignment.
    It is essential that you wear proper shoes during this time, flip-flops are not proper shoes.
As you can see we have the causes of your discomfort, which we may not eliminate entirely, but with our suggestions we can help reduce your pain substantially.
