- 1). Lift the hood. Disconnect the negative battery terminal to eliminate the possibility of a short.
- 2). Insert a small pocket screwdriver between the fascia surrounding the radio, heater controls and the dash. Pry up gently to remove the fascia from the dash. It is held in with metal expandable clips. The plastic fascia is fragile, so be gentle. Pry all sides up around the fascia until it frees itself from the dash.
- 3). Squeeze the clips on either side of the radio, which releases the radio from its support bracket. Pull it out.
- 4). Disconnect the electrical harness plug behind the radio.
- 5). Pull the radio antennae from its mounting hole in the rear of the radio.
