Russian Submarines Identifying Acoustic Signatures of US Aircraft Carriers of East Coast

Has the Cold War started again, are the Russians testing us? The Russians last year flew a bomber over a US Aircraft Carrier, and it had to be escorted away.
The Russians also did naval exercises with the country of Venezuela.
They've also been involved with Cuba recently and most of this is considered to be because the United States and NATO has been involved with separatist countries along their current border.
But that's not all; the Russians continue to be involved with Iran.
Not long ago, we spotted Russian submarines off the East Coast and it was obvious that they were trying to identify acoustic signatures for US aircraft carriers.
Whom they might share this data with could be very telling, but what else are they doing there, as they weren't there for the hell of it.
Since they gave their positions away they wanted us to know they were there as well, or they didn't mean too, and were quite embarrassed by our strong sensors; once spotted one of the two submarines headed in a northerly direction away from our coast.
A Chinese Submarines have also been playing hide and seek games with the US lately.
We are seeing is a whole new level of activity, and perhaps we should be at least a little concerned about it, because although these Russian submarines were not the type to carry nuclear ballistic missiles 200-miles off the coast of the United States is far too close.
There is something going on, and this military posturing along with the current political climate between the United States and Russia is somewhat problematic.
The last thing we need right now is another Cold War with the Russians, so this ought to be something we're thinking about.
Please consider all this.
