Sleep is so very important for not only those who are hoping to gain more height but for everyone.
When we sleep is when our bodies do their best to repair and replace the cells and allow us to grow.
It starts from when we are born till the day we die.
As children our parents make us go to bed early so we get 8, 9 or 10 hours sleep.
This is good because this would be our best years for growing in size.
But as we get older and nobody tells us to go to bed we tend to stay up later and later getting less sleep.
As adults our lives can get very busy when we take on more of a work load, spending time with family and all of the other responsibilities we are faced with.
We rob our bodies of the most important time to rebuild and energize ourselves and we eventually pay for this in our older age.
If you have adolescent kids, make sure they get lots of sleep at night so they can take full advantage of this important time in their lives to grow.
As they get out of their teen years the growth hormones start to be less helpful so make use of those adolescent years.
As adults we need all the help we can get to maintain our ability to rebuild our bodies.
Try your best to get at least eight hours of sleep each night and you will feel better.
You will also be fulfilling one of the important steps to help fend off losing your height as you move into older age.
