Nokia is a top leading mobile manufacturer which has been in the market for a long time. Its two new handsets Nokia N950 and Nokia E7 are developed using the latest technology to fully meet the needs of the consumers. According to me none is perfect everything has something which makes it lack behind. This means that both Nokia N950 and E7 are good but not perfect. Nokia N950 has Standard battery, Li-Ion with 1320 mAh while E7 has Standard battery, Li-Ion with 1200 mAh (BL-4D)
Nokia N950 has an MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan OS Operating System while Nokia E7 has a Symbian 3 Operating system. N950 has TI OMAP 3630 1 GHz processor while E7 has 680 MHz ARM 11 processor, Broadcom BCM2727 GPU. Both have availability of sending MMS, SMS with Wap 2.0 Browser. Downloadable games could be installed on both mobiles.
Nokia N950 has a dimension of 110 x 48 x 13 mm. The device enables users to link it to dedicated accessories such as headset or speakers by simply touching the phone against them. While Nokia E7 has a dimension of 123.7 x 62.4 x 13.6 mm, 104.9 cc and weighs 176 g.
N950 has LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors and a display size of 480 x 854 pixels, 4.0 inches with QWERTY keyboard, Multi-touch input method, Proximity sensor for auto turn-off and Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate. E7 has a AMOLED capacitive touchscreen again with 16M colors with a display size of 360 x 640 pixels, 4.0 inches. It has QWERTY keyboard, Nokia ClearBlack display, Multi-touch input method, Proximity sensor for auto turn-off, Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, Scratch resistant Gorilla glass display.
The sound system is almost the same in both mobiles with MP3 supported tunes. They have 3.5mm jack speakers with loudspeakers availability. Internal memory of N950 is 8.5GB user available storage with 1 GB RAM and on the other hand E7 as 16 GB storage with 256 MB RAM and 1 GB ROM. External card slots are not available in both mobile phones.
Both mobile have availability of GPRS, EDGE, 3G and WLAN (Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n). N950 has bluetooth with v2.1 with A2DP, EDR and E7 has v3.0 with A2DP. Both mobiles have mini usb port with no infrared.
Nokia N950 has camera resolution of 12 MP, 4000x3000 pixels, autofocus, dual-LED flash with geo-tagging, face detection, touch-focus features. Nokia E7 has 8 MP, 3264x2448 pixels, fixed focus, dual-LED flash with Geo-tagging, face detection features. Nokia E7 has HD 720p video recording available while video recording is available in N950 but not HD.
