I currently reside in beautiful San Diego California. Lately I have noticed a lot more advertisements and postings of signs stating "We buy houses" and "We pay cash for houses" etc..? A lot of the time these advertisements are placed by local real estate investors who are trying to grab the attention of the homeowners who need help getting fast cash for their house and as soon as possible. Some reasons may be because of a divorce, moving/relocating, foundation problems, pest issues, inherited a property the list can go on as to why a homeowner may be motivated to sell quickly.
I can understand that many people can think that investors are sharks and only care about making money. This is not necessarily true. I say this because I am in this business for the satisfaction of knowing that I am helping someone solve a problem that may be tearing them apart. I have witnessed through family how hard and embarrassing it can be to lose a house. That is why Lipumano Investments is here to talk and to provide information and knowledge on what to do next. Many homeowners and home sellers right now are going through a very tough time financially and personally. Most of the time they don't know who to turn to. Real estate agents do an excellent job marketing and selling houses but what about the houses that aren't presentable? or what about the houses that are deemed unlivable? Creating a win-win situation is an important aspect in this business. I like knowing that I can talk to the homeowner and understand everything that is going within their position. After all they are letting me into their home and their personal belongings I can't help but be respectful and courteous. My point is helping them solve their problem helps me as well. The home sellers needs are very important to me and this business while providing them what they want is not always included when working with my company. I can't say it clearer than this that this is a business and I do expect to make a profit after all that is what's feeding my family and putting food on the table.
Even though the San Diego market is showing a strong sign recovery and appreciation many other homeowners are facing stressful situations that can be unbearable and could be negatively affecting their life every day. I wouldn't recommend counting out local real estate investors as an option. I suggest giving one of them a call and see what they can do for you because that's what we're here for.
