- 1). Click the Windows "Start" menu, select "All Programs" and click "Trend Micro AntiVirus" to launch the program's command center.
- 2). Click the "Virus and Spyware Controls" and click the "Settings" button. Uncheck the "Activate real-time protection" and click "OK." Specify the length of time you want to disable the protection for and click "Set." Click "OK" again
- 3). Click "Personal Firewalls and Controls" if you want to disable the firewall and click "Settings." Uncheck the "Activate Personal Firewall" check box and click "OK" to save the changes.
