- 1). Click the "Start" button in the Windows and select the "LaTex" from the "All Programs" menu to open the LaTeX application.
- 2). Click the "Open" option from the "File" menu, click on your LaTeX document you want to edit and press the "OK" button to open the document.
- 3). Locate the line in your LaTeX document starting with "\setlength".
- 4). Add "\voffset[cin]" at the line end, where the "c" is the increase or decrease of the top margin length in inches.
- 5). Click the "Save" option from the "File" menu to save the file with the adjusted top margin in your LaTex document.
