- 1). Open a Web browser. In the address bar, type the IP address of your router. Refer to your owner's manual for the address, as different routers have different default IPs. Common Siemens addresses are 10.1.1.1, 192.168.254.254 and 192.168.1.254.
- 2). Click the "Login" button and enter the username and password associated with your router. Again, if you have not changed these settings, you may need to refer to your owner's manual for the default values. Many Siemens routers use "admin/admin" as their default username/password combination.
- 3). Select the "Settings" tab on the left of the window. Click the "DHCP" link.
- 4). Click the radio button to disable DHCP. Click the "Save Settings" button. DHCP is now disabled on your network. You need to assign an IP address manually to each computer on your network.
