This is your Cabin Crew speaking, please prepare for take off. Cause the cover battle of the Boy Meets Girl remake of "Waiting for a Star To Fall" from the "Three Men and a Baby" Movie Soundtrack from the 80s is about to get hot and high in altitude. There has been a war going on with this version and the one put out by Sunset Strippers entitled "Falling Stars." The battle over who has the original vocal or this or that is totally irrelevant to me, but for those of you who really want to know, the Sunset Strippers have the original vocal and their version is more closer to the original, while George Merrill and Shanon Rubicam offered and re-recorded the vocal for the Cabin Crew.
The two main differences between the two are simple; the Cabin Crew uses stutters and loops in their version, and the other big difference is the video (in which the Cabin Crew wins by a landslide). The mixes are out there for the norm as you have The Vandalism Mix and the United Nations Remix, though in this case the remixes doesn't do it much justice for either group. My suggestions are to stick with the Original Mixes and Radio Edits. It's already perfect the way it is, so why fix what is not broken.
As far as which cover will win the ultimate war... Well, time is of the essence and we all know that only time will tell, so stay tuned.
