- 1). Check your TV signal cable. These TV’s work best with either digital TV or HD TV cable signals. Tighten the appropriate TV signal cable tightly to the port on the back of the TV.
- 2). Move the TV to another location in the house, and connect it to the digital or HD connection, as the prior cable connection may be loose or have cable breaks. Turn on the TV to see if the static continues.
- 3). Turn on the TV with the remote control power button. Press the “Menu” button under the number keypad on the remote control to get the on-screen display menu to appear.
- 4). Press the CH+/CH- to change the menu to the “In TV,AV, S-Video and YPbPr and PC modes Picture” menu. Press the “Vol” and “OK” keys to enter the menu.
- 5). Press the “Vol+/Vol-” remote control keys to move up and down through the options. Select the picture definition submenu, and press the “volume” and “OK” keys to enter the menu. Press the “Vol+/Vol-” to make adjustments to either lower or raise the definition to a setting that looks best. Press the “Vol+" or "Vol-” to return to the previous menu.
- 6). Select the “Contrast” menu by pressing the “Vol+/Vol-“ keys until the menu is highlighted. Press the “Vol” and “OK” keys to enter the menu. Change the settings using the “Vol+/Vol-” keys to adjust the contrast to your liking. Press the “Vol+" or "Vol-” keys again to exit the menu.
