The Pentax SMC DA* series 16-50 f/2.8 AL SDM Wide Angle Zoom or simply known as Pentax 16-50 lens is a DA series lens which is made exclusively for Pentax Digital SLR cameras. The lens is a high quality bright lens with an f/2.8 maximum aperture. The lens gives you an ultra wide to medium zoom range and can be used to take imagery of a wide verity of elements from landscapes to personal or even group portraits and snapshots.
